Shot in the empty Rotunda of the new Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection during the lockdown in November 2020, Panorama is a reflection on the vast painted circle, dated 1889, that adorns its dome and the contemporary architectural intervention by Tadao Ando. It is part of a series of choreographic and audiovisual works through which Gerard & Kelly explore the interactions between architecture and body, from the history of a place - in this case a monument, now a museum - to the intersection of issues of gender, class and race.
Fiac partnered with the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection to premiere Panorama. The film was introduced by curator Guslagie Malanda and followed by a discussion with Gerard & Kelly, Germain Louvet, and Soa de Muse.
